Board announces winners of customer awards for outstanding planning projects in Benelux


Board awards flagship customer projects to PPHE Hotel Group, Albron and Van Moer Logistics to celebrate their vision and ambition towards their planning transformation projects. 

Board International, the global leader for Intelligent Planning solutions, today announced the winners of its annual customer awards in Benelux to recognize and celebrate organizations who have transformed their business and operations with Board.

Nominations categories are based on three key areas of achievement: 
·       World Class Transformation: companies that successfully transformed their business with Board and have a vision for Board to be used as a strategic company-wide tool.  
·       Long-Term Achievement: companies that have been with Board for a long time and continue scaling the use of the platform, adapting Board to the new processes and internal changes.  
·       Rising Star: companies that recently selected Board and while they are implementing the first project, there’s already an ambition and vision to make Board instrumental in the continuous success of the business. 


Rising Star: Van Moer Logistics 
The award in the Rising Star category went to Van Moer Logistics for Management reporting and Analyses. 
The project focuses on Financial Planning and analytics looking to integrate BI Analytics, Budgeting and Planning. The project started in June 2023 and is already live at the customer thanks to a quick and efficient implementation and the involvement of the customer team alongside Board & Planpulse technical teams.  
Van Moer Logistics is an integrated logistics service provider providing tailor-made solutions in transport, distribution, warehousing, intermodal logistics and tank container logistics. Its focus on sustainable partner relations and an ear for customer needs allowed the company to grow from 2 trucks in 1990 to a reputable group with 40 locations in Belgium and Germany. 

Long-Term Achievement: PPHE Hotel Group 

The award in the Long-Term Achievement category went to Park Plaza Hotel Europe for their FP&A initial project which has now successfully become a Worldwide cross-functional project. 
PPHE is a long-term user of the Board Intelligent Planning Platform. The company’s FP&A activities had already been transformed thanks to a successful Board financial reporting and analytics project in 2009 that was expanded into a strategic planning solution in 2017. Embarking on a project to expand the existing Board-based FP&A solution to the wider organization, PPHE’s finance team held a roadshow to discover the data expectations of key stakeholders. A total of 20 data sources were eventually integrated into the platform, including financial, operational, benchmark, online reputation, productivity, procurement, and ESG metrics relating to all the company’s locations. 


PPHE Hotel Group (formerly Park Plaza Hotels Europe) is an international hospitality real estate company with a £7 billion portfolio. World-Class Transformation: Albron 

The award in the World-Class category went to Albron for their FP&A initial project which has now successfully become a Worldwide cross-functional project. 
Albron has been a Board customer since 2019. They started their Board journey on an FP&A project to optimize and digitalize their processes internally. Focused more on Revenue and Planning, the project is now expanding to Sales Budgeting and Forecasting. With around 300 licenses in use in the Netherlands, Albron is leading the FP&A transformation and looking towards the Future with the Board Intelligent Planning Platform.
