Volkswagen de Mexico Selects BOARD International BI Platform for Financial Planning and Reporting

BOARD International, a leading global provider of software for unified Business Intelligence, analytics and performance management, today announced that the Volkswagen manufacturing center Volkswagen de Mexico, has selected the BOARD 9 platform for detailed financial planning and production reporting to executives at Volkswagen headquarters in Germany.

According to Bjoern Ehlbeck, Executive Vice-President, Finance and Organization of Volkswagen de Mexico, the BOARD platform was chosen after an extensive evaluation for its flexibility and depth of capabilities, including the ability to calculate precise margins achieved for new vehicles and spare parts manufactured.  Primary criteria for the selection included maintaining maximum data quality, seamless integration with back-end SAP systems, monitoring of the systems progress, and the ability to report results faster and better than the center’s legacy systems.
