Board recognizes Hapag-Lloyd, Aurubis, and Drees & Sommer with Customer Awards 

Board presents customer awards in the categories Long-Term Achievement, World Class Transformation, and Rising Star to recognize inspiring projects in the field of corporate planning. 

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 28 May 2025 – Board, a leading Enterprise Planning Platform, has honored companies in three categories with the Board Customer Award for particularly innovative and successful customer projects. Björn M. Stauss, Country Manager DACH at Board, presented the Long Term Achievement Award to Hapag-Lloyd, the World Class Transformation Award to Aurubis, and the Rising Star Award to Drees & Sommer at the ‘Board Beyond’ event.

Long Term Achievement Award:
Hapag-Lloyd – Perfectly linked capacity, sales, and cost planning 

The Long Term Achievement Award is presented to longtime Board customers who continue to scale their Board solution and adapt it to new processes and challenges.

World Class Transformation Award: Aurubis – Simulation and scenario building based on comprehensive data 

The World Class Transformation Award recognizes companies that use Board as a strategic tool across the entire organization. 

Aurubis is a leading global supplier of non-ferrous metals and one of the largest copper recyclers in the world. An important operational area of ​​the multi-metal producer is its stable and diversified supply chain. This should become constantly more transparent, integrated and faster enabling the company to rapidly react to changing market conditions. The integration of data on the Board Enterprise Planning Platform empowers supply chain planners to create simulations and scenarios quickly and easily. They can then identify the best course of action and make informed decisions to increase resilience. This project is supported by Board partner celver AG.

Rising Star Award: Drees & Sommer – Personnel cost planning, revenue and cost planning with the Board planning & reporting solution 

The Rising Star Award goes to companies that have only just begun their transformative journey with Board, but have a clear vision of how they can anchor Board in the company in the long term and use it for their business success. 

Drees & Sommer is a partner-led consulting firm with 6,500 employees at more than 70 locations worldwide. In March 2025, the first phase of the project was successfully completed with personnel cost and revenue planning on the Board platform. The project is characterized by agile implementation, close communication, and trusting cooperation, especially with partner AIOS. The next milestone is the integration of cost planning, which is planned for July. Approximately 330 users will work with the Board solution, making planning significantly easier for the company.
