BOARD International Names BI Industry Expert Mark Sands GM of Asia Pacific and Managing Director of Australia

BOARD International, a leading global provider of software for unified Business Intelligence, analytics and performance management, today named Mark Sands as the company’s General Manager for Asia Pacific and Managing Director of Australia.

Based in Sydney, Australia, Mr. Sands will be responsible for all of BOARD International’s sales, partnerships and business operations in the Asia Pacific region.  Prior to BOARD International, Mr. Sands held executive positions with the BI consultancy Analytics8 as its Australia Country Manager, and Qlik where he was one of the founding members of the company’s Australia office and its Regional Director for Qlik’s Australia and New Zealand subsidiary.

Prior to Qlik, Mr. Sands was Director and Co-founder of Antivia and Director of Consulting Services for Business Objects.
