From Pilot to Line Item: What AI Agents Actually Do in Finance—and How to Budget for Them

AI pilots are easy to launch. Turning them into governed, measurable investments that hold up in real finance workflows is hard. Glenn will explore how to cut through the AI hype to show what agents can realistically deliver—and how to build the business case for moving them into production.

  • Separate hype from impact: Discuss where AI agents are delivering value across variance analysis, reconciliation, forecasting, and planning—and where human judgment remains essential.
  • Build governance in from the start: Understand what finance leaders and auditors need to see as AI becomes part of critical workflows.
  • Make the investment case: Learn how to establish a baseline, measure business outcomes, and determine which AI initiatives to scale—or stop.
