How Does Board Integrate with your Existing Data & AI Ecosystem?

How can organizations harness AI without creating disconnected workflows, uncontrolled calculations, or risky data changes? This video explores how Board integrates with your existing data and AI ecosystem as a contextual decision layer, helping businesses bring structure, governance, and deeper reasoning to agentic AI. Discover how Board can make AI-powered planning more efficient, auditable, and effective.

  1. Every company has a variety of business systems that their teams are operating on

  2. a daily basis. What you don't want to be doing is have hundreds of planners

  3. independently writing their own logic, writing their own agents, and then very

  4. soon, you're just going to have a spaghetti of all of this across your organization

  5. without a clear definition of what is the right workflow logic, what is the

  6. approval process, et cetera. Now, this is where we would highly recommend a layer

  7. sitting on top of your enterprise data fabric called a contextual decision

  8. layer. This is a logical layer that understands

  9. context and plans, and helps you drive action.

  10. So this is a layer that sits on top of your systems and data fabric, but sits

  11. right below all of your agentic and AI services layer.

  12. Yes, you want to take advantage of AI, but again, you want to be doing all of these

  13. hardcore calculations on a board engine.

  14. And because this is where the less you use and burn tokens, and the more you take

  15. advantage of a board software engine, this is the most cost-effective way to go do

  16. this. Then as you start to go even deeper around causal reasoning and understanding

  17. root causes, cause and effect to make better decision, probabilistic methods of

  18. AI just does not naturally gel into this, and this is where you need the

  19. powerful tool such as Board to go help you around deeper root cause

  20. analysis and digging back. And then finally, if you're talking about

  21. really have agents do write-backs, you want

  22. to really start very controlled write-backs with the right amount of governance,

  23. validation, and auditability. And this is again, where Board can

  24. absolutely be the safeguards for all of your agents.

  25. So in a nutshell, what we would say is there needs to be a separation between the

  26. agents and then your business systems or your data fabric so that the agents are

  27. not running rogue and either pulling data out with no context,

  28. running complex calculations without fully understanding it, or doing any

  29. write-backs into your data layer.

  30. And so this is where a contextual decision layer such as Board is going to be very,

  31. very powerful

  32. as a reference architecture for your agentic journey in decision-making and

  33. planning.
