Phoenix Contact realizes Integrated Business Planning with Board
Board's Intelligent Planning solution merges planning processes from different divisions | ESG reporting rapidly implemented with the help of the Board platform
Board International, a leading global provider of Intelligent Planning solutions which help organizations plan smarter, enabling actionable insights and better outcomes, is implementing its Intelligent Planning solutions at Phoenix Contact, a global market leader and innovator in electrification, networking, and automation. The goal is to map various planning processes on the Board Intelligent Planning Platform and realize an Integrated Business Planning solution. The implementation partner is KPMG.

Together with KPMG, Phoenix Contact conducted an intensive and detailed software selection process. Board's Intelligent Planning Platform was selected as it fits perfectly into Phoenix Contact’s diverse, modern IT infrastructure and because it proved, among other things, to easily integrate and process data from various upstream systems such as SAP and a Snowflake database in Microsoft Azure.

Board has proven to be a high-performance and flexible Intelligent Planning solution that will help us deliver these crucial requirements.”
Board demonstrated its high flexibility right at the beginning of the project. After the request for ESG reporting support occurred at short notice, a suitable reporting solution based on Board's Intelligent Planning Platform was created within just a few weeks.
