The largest insurance broker in Italy has selected Board to combine its Financial Planning & Analysis, Reporting and Sales Forecasting processes on a single platform.

Board International, global leader of decision-making solutions, is extremely proud to support the largest insurance broker in Italy, ASSITECA, in its analysis, reporting, management control and sales forecasting processes.

“Before implementing and using Board, creating management reports for monitoring company performance required a series of extractions, conversions and processing to merge data from different IT sources: CRM, various management applications and accounting applications. The reports had to be filtered manually before being distributed to branch and division managers. There was so much work involved that updates could only be made on a monthly basis.”

declares Giulia Lucca, Business Controller and Innovation Manager at ASSITECA.

“Instead today, thanks to Board, the process of extracting, converting, processing and preparing reports is fully automatic and made available on a daily basis to the entire organisation, based on everyone’s individual area of responsible, down to the individual account executive.”

adds Giulia Lucca.

“The ASSITECA Group benefits from the unified environment of BI and Performance Management offered by the Board platform” – points out Mauro Bertoletti, Country Manager of Board Italia. “Board has provided ASSITECA with a point of reference – a Single Version of the Truth – of company facts and an interactive environment for an integrated financial planning & analysis, sales forecasting and reporting process that in all respects is data-driven.

By using Board, the ASSITECA Group is able to focus more attention on data analysis, understanding the dynamics that guide the evolution of company performance as well as market trends. The Groups is also in a better condition to determine and implement the necessary operations instead of having to invest most of their time in preparing data.

“The wide-spread distribution of the information that we decided to share is creating more awareness on all levels about the performance of everyone. Furthermore, the univocality of the information makes it possible to have a common pool of information that can be used for determining what the optimal decisions are for our business.”

concludes Giulia Lucca.
