By deploying integrated FP&A organisations see greater performance improvements compared with traditional FP&A processes. This is enabled through combining strategic planning, business planning and forecasting and operations planning and forecasting.
We looked at the strong case of Honda of the UK Manufacturing. Over the last 18 months, they have been on their integrated FP&A journey and have managed to increase data analytics availability and reduced their budgeting cycle time whilst increasing the numbers of stakeholders with input into the overall process.
