Board Americas announces winners of annual Customer Awards for outstanding projects

Board Americas awards flagship customer projects to Tyler Technologies, StarKist Co, and International Video Game Company

Boston, United States, April 13th, 2022 – Board Americas announced today the winners of its first annual Customer Awards to recognize and celebrate organizations who have transformed their business and operations with the use of Board.

World Class Transformation: Tyler Technologies

Tyler Technologies provides integrated software and technology services to the public sector. Their end-to-end solutions empower local, state, and federal government entities to operate more efficiently and connect more transparently with their constituents and with each other. By connecting data and processes across disparate systems, Tyler's solutions are transforming how clients gain actionable insights that solve problems in their communities.

Their big vision is for Board to have it become a strategic cross-company tool because of its flexible toolkit approach. They use Board to automate the production of financial reports which increases efficiency, saves time, and leads to overall better decisions being made by the financial users.

As they continue their journey with Board, other projects are in the works, including using the solution to create more in-depth reports with greater granularity, as well as build out a budgeting and forecasting process that encompasses every aspect of the business (FTE/payroll, Dep/Amor calculations, Allocations, etc). Their continued growth with Board validates their commitment to transforming their organization.


Rising Star: StarKist Co.

StarKist Co. provides trusted, healthy, food products in the United States. An industry innovator, StarKist was the first brand to introduce StarKist ‘single-serve’ pouch products. StarKist represents a tradition of quality, consumer trust and a commitment to sustainability. They are affectionately known as America’s favorite tuna producer.

StarKist selected Board a little over a year ago on a standalone project focused on demand planning. Over the course of their journey with Board, they have built a collaborative relationship with our team and expanded their plans for the solution. In such a short time they have already seen tremendous success with the solution, including flexibility for both the field sales organization and promotions team. Board has enabled StarKist to enhance teamwork across its global production plants and packaging suppliers, and the team anticipates they can also speed up their production-to-market process.

StarKist continues to build out Board to ensure they synthesize planning, reporting, and analysis from Sales Demand through to Supply Chain and Finance.


Long Term Achiever: International Video Game Company

The company is comprised of developers and publishers of player-focused games. The game they are best known for, which was released in 2009, has gone on to become the most-played PC game in the world and a key driver in the explosive growth of Esports. 

The company’s journey began in 2016 when they selected Board to display their financial data in dynamic dashboards and create financial forecasts for the upcoming year. In time, they appreciated the strong collaboration Board built into the relationship and they confidently continued to expand its usage of Board. The company partnered with Board to dive deeper into player data so that they could analyze, understand, and serve their ever-expanding community of users more effectively.

Board has delivered significant business value to the customer through key data insights in real time, standardizing and streamlining their forecasting and reporting usability across global team members.
