ERIKS Western Europe, comprising The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Spain and representing roughly 1\/3 of ERIKS\u2019 global sales, has chosen the Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM) software solution by BOARD International.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>ERIKS offers a wide range of high-quality mechanical engineering components and related technical and logistics services. With more than 200,000 industrial customers and 680,000 stock keeping units, the group is one of the strongest competitors in its market. ERIKS Western Europe will use BOARD for cost allocation, distribution analysis, profit margin analysis and reporting. The Swiss made software was selected due to its unique integration of BI and CPM.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Self-service BI with fast time to solution<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p>\u201cBesides the advantages of the all-in-one approach to BI and CPM, we were convinced by the powerful analytics and simulations we can carry out with BOARD. Users are going to be highly independent as BOARD allows real self-service BI. This and the fast time to solution makes BOARD the most efficient solution for us\u201d, explains Frans Vollering, CFO at ERIKS Western Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>The project is going to be implemented by BOARD\u2019s certified partner CPMview. Rutger van den Berg from CPMview about the project: \u201cERIKS needs fast and reliable information about the profitability of their customers and products. BOARD provides the capabilities to create a sophisticated and easy to maintain cost model that supports flexible reporting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p>BOARD has recently opened its Benelux office in Amsterdam and is proud to welcome ERIKS among the customers from the region.
