Monday, 09 March 2020 - Chiasso, Switzerland and Boston, US

Several new features and upgrades are included in the latest release, which is available now

Board International has released the latest version of its leading Board decision-making platform – Board 11.2 – featuring a range of new and improved capabilities.

Already making business reporting, planning, and forecasting more effective with its unified approach, the Board platform is now even faster and more flexible. One of the most significant enhancements in the new version is the DeepLocker function, which enables users to lock data values at cell or aggregate level along any hierarchy and across any dimension. This gives users greater control over which figures are affected by changes to drivers or numbers in planning and simulation activities.

The revolutionary WAVE engine, which underpins the Board platform, has seen improvements too. Better cube version management and an increase in performance and functionality help to maintain its leading edge in data processing.

“Dealing with big data is now easier than ever before,” says Pietro Ferrari, CTO at Board International. “The WAVE engine can process vast volumes of information in a significantly shorter timeframe than traditional solutions, greatly reducing the time taken for large-scale data consolidation and processing to take place. With the latest enhancements in Board 11.2, that time is reduced even further.”

Board 11.2 is available now.
