IDC Market Note: Board International Takes Aim with its Integrated Suite
According to IDC, Board International's offering is clearly resonating with customers, with the company recording 45% growth in 2016 - the eight consecutive year of over 20% growth - and gaining 210 new customers (including Sainsbury's, INSEAD, KPMG, Toyota Motor, and Ricoh in Europe, together with AMD and Samsung in the U.S.), bringing the total number to over 3,000.
Board's European heritage makes the company a rare breed in a market dominated by North-American software firms. The company — founded in 1994 in Chiasso, Switzerland — has built a strong European presence in Western Europe and created the jump-off for its expansion into North America in particular.
