Relational data base access: versatility and real-time
In addition to providing a multi-dimensional integrated database, BOARD supports direct access to any relational database.
Unlike other traditional Business Intelligence software applications, BOARD’s Relational Engine supports data write-back, allowing the exploitation of all native simulation functions that have fueled BOARD’s international success as a rapid application development tool for decision support. For example, a budgeting solution created with the ROLAP engine allows storage of the planning data directly inside the company’s relational data-warehouse.
Integrated ETL: flexible and easy access to data
BOARD integrates all the capabilities required to handle data cleansing and standardization processes, thus eliminating the need to use specific products for Extraction, Transformation and Loading process (ETL).
